Two travelling bags came to be when we, Val and Louise, decided to take the plunge and travel for 6 months without a return flight. We are two mature aged Australian ladies have travelled extensively apart, although in the last 10 years we have visited quite a few countries together. Now we want the time to relax and absorb our journey.
However, this trip is different as we want to prove to ourselves that we can travel inexpensively on around $100 a day. That we don’t have to go the “comfort way” but can travel comfortably. This includes internal airfares, accommodation and expenses: food wine etc.
Around the world in 180 days.
So….let us begin!
The truth is that we have not included our flight from Australia to Lima or our travel insurance but everything else is included in our daily budget.
